CM Yadav targets Akhilesh’s stronghold: Will hold meetings today in Azamgarh, UP regarding 5 Lok Sabha seats

After Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, BJP has removed Shivraj Singh Chauhan and made Dr. Mohan Yadav the CM. By making Mohan the Chief Minister, BJP is trying to bring the Yadav voters of Bihar and UP into its fold. Under this strategy, Madhya Pradesh CM Dr. Mohan Yadav will make a strategy to win the Lok Sabha elections in Azamgarh, the stronghold of SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav, on Tuesday.

 

Will hold three meetings in Azamgarh

 

CM Dr. Mohan Yadav will attend the meetings of party officials of 5 Lok Sabha constituencies Azamgarh-Lalganj-Ghosi-Ballia and Salempur Lok Sabha constituencies falling under Azamgarh cluster on 13th February. According to the schedule of CM, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will reach Manduri airstrip of Azamgarh at 11 o’clock. After this, Jaipuria School will reach Miriya Kandhrapur and take the first meeting of the required class at 12 noon. The second meeting will be held from 1.30 pm and the third meeting of the expected category will be attended from 2.45 pm.

 

Dr. Mohan Yadav will address 3 meetings of expected category

During his one-day stay in UP, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will address requisite category of party officials in 3 meetings. Which will include District President, District In-charge, Lok Sabha Convenor, Lok Sabha In-charge and Lok Sabha Management Committee officials, MPs, MLAs, Assembly candidates, District Panchayat President, Municipality and Nagar Panchayat President, Block Chief and District Panchayat members.

Azamgarh seat of UP has been the stronghold of Samajwadi Party. Former CM Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav have been MPs from this seat. Akhilesh Yadav became SP MP in the last 2019 Lok Sabha elections. But in the by-election held in 2022, BJP’s Dinesh Lal Yadav ‘Niruhaa’ defeated SP’s Dharmendra Yadav. Now BJP is making a strategy to retain this seat as well as win the surrounding seats.

In 2009, BJP had won this seat for the first time. After this, SP retained control of this seat in 2014 and 2019. SP is in control of all the five assemblies of Azamgarh Lok Sabha constituency, Gopalpur, Sagari, Mubarakpur, Azamgarh, Mehnagar.

Azamgarh Lok Sabha seat was won by BJP for the first time in 2009. After this, SP retained control of this seat in 2014 and 2019. SP is in control of all the five assemblies of Azamgarh Lok Sabha constituency, Gopalpur, Sagari, Mubarakpur, Azamgarh, Mehnagar.

The 5 constituencies included in the Lalganj Lok Sabha, Atraulia, Nizamabad, Phulpur Pabai, Didarganj, Lalganj, are all under the control of SP. Sangeeta Azad of Bahujan Samaj Party is the MP in Lalganj.

Ghomeshi is the SP MLA from Muhammadabad Gohna, one of the five constituencies in the Lok Sabha. BJP is in control of Madhuban, SubhaSP is in control of Mau and BSP is in control of Rasra. BSP’s Atul Rai is MP in Ghomeshi Lok Sabha. BJP’s Harinarayan Rajbhar became MP for the first time in the 2014 elections.

There are SP MLAs in 5 assembly constituencies, Phephna, Bairia and Muhammadabad, included in Ballia Lok Sabha. BJP is in control of Ballia Nagar and SubhaSP is in control of Zahurabad. BJP’s Virendra Singh Mast is the MP from Ballia Lok Sabha seat. Bharat Singh of BJP became MP for the first time in 2014.

Of the five assemblies included in the Salempur Lok Sabha, BJP has MLAs in Bhatpar Rani, Salempur and Bansdih. Belthara Road is under the control of SubhaSP and Sikandarpur is under the control of SP. BJP’s Ravindra Kushwaha has been elected MP from Salempur for the last two Lok Sabha elections.
