CM Shri Chouhan worships Maa Narmada alongwith wife
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan alongwith his wife Smt. Sadhna Singh worshipped Maa Narmada at Sethani Ghat in Hoshangabad today. MLAs Shri Girijashankar Sharma and Shri Vijaypal Singh, Municipality Chairperson Smt. Maya Naroliya and other public representatives were present on the occasion.
Extending Makar Sankranti greetings to people, the Chief Minister wished them happiness and prosperity. He prayed to Maa Narmada, improvement in living standard of state’s people, happiness and peace in the state, enhancement in honour of women and girls, employment to youths, optimum industrial development and making agriculture profitable. He said that after ongoing Maha Kumbh at Allahabad, a large-scale campaign to de-pollute Narmada will be launched with the cooperation of people. A large number of devotees worshipped Maa Narmada at the ghat on Makar Sankranti. The district had made adequate arrangements on the occasion.
Job to disabled girl: Chief Minister Shri Chouhan saw 24-year-old disabled girl Varsha Verma of village Badodiya at Sethani Ghat and sought information about her. Varsha informed that she is studying in MA Final. She is handicapped in both legs since birth. The Chief Minister directed the collector to ensure proper arrangements for the girl’s education and job.
