Amazing change possible through change in attitude: CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that patience is key to achieving any target. One should remain poised in both success and failure. Amazing change can be brought about in life through change in attitude. Shri Chouhan was addressing state level Motivation Fair here today. Ideologue and thinker Shri Suresh Soni delivered the keynote address.

The Chief Minister said that everything is possible with firm determination. It is the human beings which have created history. Human being is treasure trove of unending energy. Nothing in the world is impossible for them. One finds the way if he has strong willpower. A man becomes as he thinks. Everyone has capacity about which he should know. Concentration, dedication and viewpoint are necessary for better work. He exhorted youths for better contribution to re-building of India.

The programme was presided over by Bhopal Utsav Mela Samiti’s President Shri Ramesh Chandra Agrawal. The Chief Minister released CD of Jagaran Geet, book “Vyaktitva Vikas Ke Vibhinna Ayam” and Indian Diary.

Higher and Technical Education Minister Shri Umashankar Gupta said that personality development cells have been constituted to inculcate enthusiasm among youths and teach them art of living. He called for effective conduct of the cells. Shri Gupta said that apart from bookish knowledge, college students should also be imparted knowledge about country’s great traditions. He lauded cell coordinators for good work in less time. The Minister said that students should be given opportunity to speak at lecture series. He informed that private colleges are also creating personality development cells voluntarily.

Shri Suresh Soni said that the more education is spreading, the moral values are undergoing erosion. He said that man can make machines, but machines cannot make man. Shri Soni said that apart from modern, education of traditional values and culture are also necessary. He said that works towards this being undertaken by personality development cell in Madhya Pradesh will be worthy of emulation for other states also.

Shri Ramesh Chandra Agrawal said that Bhaskar Group will cooperate in this entire state. He said that presently, students pursue education only for employment. State Coordinator Shri Surendra Bihari Goswami informed about cell’s activities.

Minister of State for Higher Education Shri Deepak Joshi and Shri Siddhbhau were also present at the programme. Five hundred cell coordinators from colleges of the state participated in the programme. Shri Vijay Agrawal proposed a vote of thanks.
