CM Joins Bhagwan Mahakal Sawari at Ujjain

Bhopal. The 5th sawari of Shravan Bhado Maas and first sawari of Bhado Maas of Bhagwan Mahakal was taken out for disciples with jubilation at Ujjain. Chief Minister along with his wife Smt. Sadhana Singh reached Ujjain and went directly from the helipad to have Darshan of Bhagwan Mahakal at Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple. He performed pooja of Bhagwan Chandramoleshwar at Sabha Mandap.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan carried the Palki on his shoulder and set out the Sawari for the city. Shri Chouhan while playing Jhanjh Majheere devoutly and chanting ‘Om Nama: Shivay” was walking bare foot. He also received the salutation from the devotees throughout the Sawari route.

Minister for Energy Shri Paras Jain was also with the Chief Minister Shri Chouhan during the Sawari. Police Jawan saluted as soon as Sawari reached the main gate of the Mahakal Temple. Citizens of the city were being informed about the Sawari of Bhagwan Mahakal by the persons firing canon in front of the Sawari. Police band, horse riders, police force, battalion of armed police force, several bhakt mandliya praising Bhagwan Mahakal were following them. Sawari marg was reverberated with the chanting of “Aalki ki Palki, Jai Mahakal ki”

Jal Abhishek by CM Shri Chouhan at Ramghat

As soon as Sawari of Bhagwaan Mahakaleshwar reached Ramghat, disciples sitting at both the sides of River Kshipra welcomed Sawari with the sound of “Jai Mahakal”. Shri Chouhan along with his wife Smt. Sadhana Singh reached Ramghat on foot and performed Jal Abhishek of Bhagwan Mahakal with Kshipra river water. MLA Sarvshri Dr. Mohan Yadav, Bahadur Singh Chouhan and Dilip Singh Shekhawat were present on the occasion.
