CM inaugurates, lays foundation stones of Rs. 1068 works at Bori

Panna: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan distributed material worth over Rs. 18 crore under various schemes at Antyodaya Mela at village Bori in Shah Nagar tahsil of Panna district today. He inaugurated 91 works worth Rs. 631 crore and laid foundation stones for 56 construction works costing Rs. 437 crore. The Chief Minister sanctioned Rs. 357 crore project of Majhgawan, Rs. 221 crore project of Pawai, Patne and Rs. 262 crore Runj project. Shri Chouhan interacted with common people, heard their problems and accepted applications from them.
The Chief Minister said that all-round development of Panna district is being ensured. Hundreds of projects have been implemented to ensure that every field in the district is irrigated. He said that feeder separation work is progressing at a rapid pace. Villagers of Panna district will start getting 24-hour power supply from May. Every farmer found eligible in survey of frost-affected fields in the district in the survey will be provided fair compensation.
The Chief Minister said that a number of facilities are being provided to youths to establish industries. The government is giving loan guarantee on educational loans. Loans upto Rs. 25 lakh will be provided for self-employment. Informing about Mukhyamantri Mazdoor Suraksha, Gaon Ki Beti, Ladli Laxmi schemes as well schemes of the Rural Development Department, he appealed to people to avail benefit of these schemes. He said that people have started getting services in time as a result of Public Services Delivery Guarantee Act’s implementation.
The Chief Minister said that daughters should be given full honour and opportunities for development. People should be discriminate between sons and daughters. He said that Mukhyamantri Teerth-Darshan Yojna and free mid-day meal distribution scheme have been launched for the benefit of senior citizens.
Shri Chouhan said that forest right patta will be given to tribals who had occupied land before year 2005. Every eligible person will get its benefit. Full compensation will be given to those whose lands have been submerged in irrigation projects.
Minister of State for Agriculture & Public Service Management Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh said that the Chief Minister has given a number of gifts to Pawai area. MLA Dr. Rajesh Verma, Zila Panchayat Chairperson Smt. Sudama Bai Patel, Bundelkhand Development Authority Vice-Chairman Shri Babulal Yadav, former MLA Shri Gorelal, local public representatives and thousand of common people were present on the occasion.
