CM holds one-to-one meetings with investors at Johannesburg

Bhopal: During his investment promotion visit to South Africa, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan held one-to-one meetings with investors interested in investment in mining, energy and infrastructure sectors at Johannesburg today. The Chief Minister also visited Constitution Hall where Mahatma Gandhi was imprisoned when he led satyagrah against apartheid. Shri Chouhan visited Shri Nelson Mandela’s house in Soweto, where the Chief Minister said that life and fight of late Shri Mandela for justice will always inspire the mankind towards righteousness. He quoted Shri Mandela’s words that “A nation should not be judged by how it treats its highest citizens, but its lowest.” Shri Chouhan said that this re-enforces the approach of his government. In Johannesburg, Shri Chouhan also visited gaol no. 4 where Gandhiji was incarcerated. The Chief Minister said that this place reminded him Einstein’s famous quote on Gandhiji that “Generations to come, it may well be, will scarce believe that such a man as this one in flesh and blood ever walked on this earth.”
