CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan feeds “kheer” to children, celebrates birthday

Budni: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan fed “kheer” to small children as part of “Anna Prashan” and celebrated their birthdays with fervour. On the occasion, the Chief Minister also honoured two girls on Tuesday.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan inspected a departmental exhibition at the venue of Antyodaya Mela at Budhni. At the stall of Women & Child Development Department, Shri Chouhan performed all rituals of Mangal Diwas and lovingly blessed children. The children celebrated their birthdays by cutting a cake with the Chief Minister.

Incentive amount sanctioned: At Antyodaya Mela, girl students of government and private schools gave a demonstration of martial arts. A song focusing on the government’s scheme was sung by Bhajan singer Shri Bhagwan Singh of Khandwa. The Chief Minister sanctioned incentive worth Rs. 10 thousand each on excellent performance of martial arts and presentation of song. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan held direct discussions with people, heard their problems and accepted applications from them. Tribal Welfare Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah, Housing Board Chairman Shri Rampal Singh and Forest Development Corporation Chairman Shri Guru Prasad Sharma were present on the occasion.
