CM directs for immediate survey of areas affected by excess rain and provide relief to farmers

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has directed for immediate survey of areas affected by hailstorm and excess rain in the state. He said that relief will be made available to farmers soon. The State Government is standing by them in this hour of crisis.
Shri Chouhan reviewed situation arising out of excess rain and hailstorm at a high-level meeting here today. He said that relief should be provided to farmers immediately on the basis of survey. It should also be ensured that farmers also get benefit of crop insurance scheme. He directed to start employment-oriented works also in the affected areas.
Chief Secretary Shri R. Parasuram, Additional Chief Secretary Shri M.M. Upadhyay, Principal Secretary Cooperatives Shri Devraj Birdi, Principal Secretary Revenue Shri Prabhanshu Kamal, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Shri Manoj Shrivastava, MP Agro Managing Director Shri Rakesh Shrivastava, Commissioner MNREGA Shri Ravindra Pastor and other officers were present at the meeting.
