CM celebrates Diwali with traditional dignity

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan celebrated Deepawali with traditional dignity on Tuesday. He performed puja with religious rites at his official residence and burned crackers. On the occasion, Shri Chouhan visited Chowk area in the city to exchange greetings with people. The Chief Minister was accompanied by his wife Smt. Sadhna Singh Chouhan and District BJP President Shri Alok Sharma.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan enter Chowk Bazar from Peer Gate side. He performed worship at Shriji’s temple, had Darshan of tableau set up by Bengali Hindu Utsav Samiti and paid his obeisance over there. Shri Chouhan extended Deepawali greetings to those present on the occasion. He said that he wishes from Almighty to shower blessings on everyone. Their houses are filled with happiness and they remain disease-free. Every house become prosperous. The Chief Minister also congratulated Bengali community for organising Deepawali Utsav.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan walked on foot in Chowk Bazar area for about one and a half hours. He interacted with common people, exchanged greetings with them and doted on little children. Separate groups of people welcomed the Chief Minister at different places in Chowk Bazar. A turban was administered and bouquets and mementoes were presented to the Chief Minister.
