CM announced fund for Badnagar development

UJJAIN (MPINFO): Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced at Antyodaya Mela at Badnagar in Ujjain district that a sum of Rs. 10 crore will be sanctioned for the construction of Badnagar bypass. He also announced to sanction requisite funds for upgrading Badnagar Hospital from 60-bed to 100-bed hospital.

The Chief Minister announced to sanction Rs. 50 lakh for Badnagar Municipality and Rs. 5 lakh for Gita Bhavan Trust, Badnagar. He assured to sanction Chamleshwar, Chincholiya and Suklana irrigation projects after the proposals are found to be technically correct.

As a token, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan distributed cheques and material among the beneficiaries at the fair. Assistance to the tune of Rs. 30 crore 52 lakh was made available to a total of 39 thousand beneficiaries at Antyodaya Mela.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan inaugurated seven construction works costing Rs. 5 crore 34 lakh. The works include Rs. 4 crore 11 lakh Likhauda Dam, new hospital ward built at a cost of Rs. 20 lakh, scheduled castes hostel constructed at a cost of Rs. 52 lakh, Hazari Bagh Road built at a cost of Rs. eight lakh 35 thousand, additional rooms of Excellence School costing Rs. 10 lakh 76 thousand and BRC building constructed at a cost of Rs. 20 lakh 55 thousand and dedicated a modern museaum built at a cost of Rs. 11 lakh 50 thousand.

Besides, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan laid the foundation stone of Ingoria Hospital to be built at a cost of Rs. two crore, Anganwadi building at Fetehpur costing Rs. seven lakh, tehsil building to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 30 lakh and building of sub-tehsil costing Rs. 20 lakh.

He announced to institute an annual award in the name of national poet Pradeep. He said that former Prime Minister Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee had received his primary education at Badnagar. Shri Vajpayee’s birthday on December 25 will be observed as Good Governance Day throughout the state. Large number of people, people’s representatives and senior officers were present at the fair.
