CM and thousands of rural public representatives see new image of rural development

Bhopal: An exhibition put up at Jamboree Maidan on the occasion of Maha-panchayat of three-tier panchayat raj representatives organised by the Panchayats & Rural Development department remained the centre of attraction. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan and thousand of rural public representatives participating in Maha-panchayat saw a new image of rural development in the state at the exhibition where attractive photographs and models were displayed to showcase various development and public welfare schemes. The panchayat representatives evinced keen interest in learning about all schemes and they sought detailed information from the departmental officers.
Alongwith Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, Panchayats, Rural Development and Social Justice Minister Gopal Bhargava and Minister of State for Panchayats & Rural Development Shri Dev Singh Saiyyam also went-round the exhibition. The Chief Minister also inspected buildings erected with pre-fab and pre-cast technologies at the exhibition. He said that image of villages is now changing with construction of building through new techniques. This show will prove to be inspirational. The Chief Minister also inspected live workshop for testing quality and new technique being adopted for construction of rural roads.
One-by-one, the Chief Minister visited all stalls and inspected models. Earlier, the Chief Minister and ministers was greeted with bouquets on arrival at the exhibition site by Commissioner Panchayats Shri Vishwamohan Upadhyay and other senior officers.
