Chief Minister takes meal at shanty of Malti at Pancham Ki Phel basti in Indore
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan took meal at shanty of Malti Kunhare at Pancham Ki Phel basti in Indore yesterday.
MLAs Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya and Shri Mahendra Hardia and other public representatives were present on the occasion. Large number of people specially women and children accorded a warm welcome to Chief Minister Shri Chouhan with shower of flower petals when he reached the basti. Malti Kunhare also enthusiastically greeted the Chief Minister and other guests. She and her daughters Puja, Neha and Manisha had cooked pulses, rice, makka ki roti, methi ki sabzi and puri and she served these dishes to the guests with great affection. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that this food is tastier than any other meal. He said that “our government is committed to provide food, clothing and houses to dalits, poor and other needy persons. It is our effort to ensure that no one has to struggle for progress”.
Malti, her daughters Puja, Neha, Manisha and son Nikhil’s happiness knew no bounds after serving food cooked by them to the Chief Minister. They said, “This is the most memorable day of our life. We will never forget this day”. Malti Kunhare said, “This is our good fortune that head of the state arrived to take meal in shanty of a poor person. We had never dreamt of it. It is still very incredible for us that we have served food to the Chief Minister”.
