Chief Minister Shri Chouhan Wishes ‘Matrushakti’, Congratulates Daughters

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan extended his greetings on International Women’s Day to all women.

Shri Chouhan said that much work has been done for women empowerment in the state. The State government is resolved to improve the social, economic and educational level of women. He said that the change of situation in state is the result of well-planned schemes to empower women in every way. Acceptability of birth of female child has increased. There is a check on evil practices related to girls and women and discrimination towards them has come down. Efforts are being made to maintain the prestige of women at every level.

Shri Chouhan said that due to the state government’s well-considered strategies of women empowerment an atmosphere of equality based social system has been created in the state. By giving employment opportunities to women, several important decisions have been taken to make them self-reliant. These decisions are bringing about a speedy and positive development in the social, economic, educational and political status of women.
