Chief Minister held a review meeting regarding law and order: Said- take action against the sale of meat in the open, stop new methods of crime and fraud.

On Monday, State Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held a review meeting of Bhopal division regarding law and order at Kushabhau Thackeray Hall. He also advised to do the proposed planning of boundaries of zones and police stations in Bhopal with the consent of public representatives. Revenue Minister Karan Singh Verma, Sports and Youth Welfare, Cooperation Minister Vishwas Sarang, Backward Classes and Minority Welfare Minister Krishna Gaur were also present in the meeting.

The Chief Minister said that special campaigns should be run to control the new methods of crime and fraud and to make people aware in this regard. Don’t harass innocent people. The CM said that action should be taken against the sale of meat in the open and urban bodies and nagar panchayats should make special provisions in the budget and quickly develop special areas for the sale of meat.

Collectors should also do surprise inspection of jails.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav instructed the District Collectors to conduct surprise inspection of jails. Said to analyze the condition of prisoners in all the jails of the state and submit a report within 15 days. Bhopal Police Commissioner Harinarayan Chari Mishra said with the data of Bhopal City Police that there has been a 6% decrease in IPC crimes in Bhopal in the year 2022-23.

If development work is done then inform local MLAs

The Chief Minister made it clear that as had been decided earlier, the government in the state would be run from divisions and districts. Therefore, inform the local MLAs about whatever development work is being done by the departments. Better work should be done in this direction. The Chief Minister said that good work has been done in the field of ODF in Bhopal district. Try to identify the villages which have been left out of ODF and make them ODF.
