Centre sanctions Rs. 191 crore pending projects
Bhopal: Urban Administration Minister Shri Babulal Gaur met Union Urban Development Minister Shri Kamalnath in New Delhi today. He expressed gratitude for sanctioning Rs. 191 crore for development of Madhya Pradesh’s cities.
Shri Gaur informed that Rs. 191 crore will be utilised on BRTS Bhopal, cable bridge at Kamla Park and lake front development along banks of Upper Lake at Khanugaon. Besides, funds have also been sanctioned for Indore transport system. The Urban Administration Minister informed that in-principle sanction has been granted to Rs. 32 crore proposal for Habibganj railway under-bridge. These funds will also be released by the Union Urban Development Ministry soon.
The Union Urban Development Minister informed that proposals worth Rs. 1375 crore sent by the state for development of Madhya Pradesh’s cities are being examined.
