CCTV Cameras to be installed at all cash counters of offices

Bhopal: Central Region Power Distribution Company will give Rs. one lakh reward for giving clue about murderer of late Smt. Mira Ahuja. This was said by Home Minister Shri Umashankar Gupta and Energy Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla while reviewing security arrangements for the company’s cash counters. They directed to provide appointment on compassionate ground to the dependent of late Smt. Mira Ahuja in a day. It may be noted that the Home Department has also announced Rs. one lakh reward separately to any person who gives clue about the murder.
At the meeting, the Home Minister directed that CC TV cameras should be installed at all the cash counters. He said that electricity bill should be accepted after 5 pm only wherever necessary. He said that security arrangements should also be made as per requirement at cash counters. The Home Minister also directed to repair gates of cash counters. He said that women employees should not be deployed in the evening shift.
The Home Minister directed that FIR should be lodged immediately when officers of the Power Distribution Company report about cases of theft or violence. He said that home guards should be made available if demanded by the company. Central Region Power Distribution Company MD Shri Nitesh Vyas, Additional Director General CID Shri M. Krishna, Additional DIG Bhopal Range Shri Vijay Yadav, DIG Shri Yogesh Choudhary and other officers were present on the occasion.
