Campaign also for PM’s insurance and sanitation schemes

Bhopal:During Krishi Mahotsav, Prime Minister’s Swachchhata Abhiyan and recently launched Prime Minister’s insurance schemes will be widely publicised. Mahotsav is being held from May 25 to June 15.

During Mahotsav, special efforts will be made to provide benefits of Swachchhata Abhiyan, Pradhanmantri Suraksha Bima, Pradhanmantri Jeevan Jyoti and Atal Pension Yojana to people at village level programmes. Apart from creating awareness about sanitation among people, they would also be apprised of ways to maintain hygiene. These activities at village level will continue for 22 days. Camps under Bima Suraksha Yojana will also be held in villages.

It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had launched Pradhanmantri Suraksha Bima, Pradhanmantri Jeevan Jyoti and Atal Pension Yojana at Kolkata on May 9. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Minister of External Affairs Smt. Sushma Swaraj had launched these schemes at Bhopal. To motivate people for these, the Chief Minister organised a programme at his residence on May 18 where he himself, wife Smt. Sadhana Singh and all members of his staff got insured. At the programme, the Chief Minister had announced to launch a state-wide campaign for this. In the series, large-scale publicity is being undertaken about Pradhanmantri Suraksha Bima Yojana clubbed with other programmes during Krishi Mahotsav.
