Budget of Madhya Pradesh’s prosperity, development: CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has described the budget presented in Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha today as the budget of the state’s prosperity and development.
Shri Chouhan said that adequate provisions have been made for infrastructure, water, power and roads in the budget for the financial year 2013-14. Special provisions have been made in it to make agriculture a profitable occupation. It has also made provisions for increasing employment opportunities by promoting industries and business. The budget will boost morale of youths. The budget comprises of provisions for the Mukhyamantri Swarozgar Yojna. The budget has also kept in view the larger interests of small artisans and labourers.
Shri Chouhan said that relief has been given to housewives in the budget. Women will get LPG at lower rates as a result of reduction in entry tax. Adequate provisions have also been made in budget for education, health and women’s empowerment. Adequate funds have been earmarked for welfare schemes for the poor. Relief has also been given to rural and urban labourers through it. Now, benefit of Gaon Ki Beti Yojna and Pratibha Kiran Yojna will be provided to girl students of private colleges also. Adequate allocation has also been made for Ladli Laxmi Yojna. Decision has been taken to construct buildings and in the education and health sectors and increase salaries of Adhyapaks. Overall, it is a budget of Madhya Pradesh’s prosperity and development.
