BMHRC signed an MoU with NIREH to facilitate students
Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Center (BMHRC) and National Institute for Research in Environmental Health (NIREH), two Bhopal-based institutes of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), have come together as part of preparations to start a medical college at BMHRC. An MOU has been signed between BMHRC and NIREH, to facilitate the students to avail various facilities available at NIREH. The MOU was signed by Dr. Manisha Shrivastava, Director, BMHRC and Dr. Rajnarayan Tiwari, Director, NIREH.
Dr. Manisha Srivastava, Director, BMHRC said that PG courses have already been started in the Department of Anesthesiology and Department of Ophthalmology and will soon start in some other departments too. We are also trying to start an MBBS course from next year in BMHRC. Since NIREH has good infrastructure and has expertise in various research related subjects, MOU has been signed to provide best facilities to the students, who will come to study in BMHRC.”
“Under this MOU, Doctors and students of BMHRC will be able to take the help of NIREH’s Research Scientist, Statistician etc. for research related activities,” she added.
