BJP demonstrates at CM’s house

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday demonstrated outside Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s house here to protest against “religious conversion” of tribals in Chhattisgarh.

BJP leaders marched to the house from 16 locations and courted arrest. A large number of police personnel were deployed at the site.

BJP leader Brijmohan Agrawal alleged that no action has been taken despite complaints to the police about the conversions.

“Instead of booking persons who talk of burning the Constitution for sedition, the Chhattisgarh government is protecting them,” he said.
