Congress alleges BJP over reports of Khemka’s Central deputation

New Delhi: Reports of IAS officer Ashok Khemka getting a post at the Centre prompted Congress to remark that the “association of BJP with many officers and officials is well-known”.

BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said that such loyal serviceman should be taken into duty and that Congress had already tortured him enough.

Earlier, reacting to reports that Khemka may be moved to the Centre, Minister of State for Personnel, Jitendra Singh, was non-committal, saying, “We are not commenting on this issue… The placement is part of the natural process of administration. It’s not appropriate to attach motives.”
