Baghel inaugurates C’garh pavilion at IITF

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday inaugurated Chhattisgarh pavilion at 39th India International Trade Fair undergoing at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Various departments of Chhattisgarh government have put stalls at the fair, which will conclude on November 27. The fair will be open to public from November 19.

The Chief Minister inspected the stalls and gathered information from the officials. Appreciating the work by craftsmen of Chhattisgarh, Baghel wrote in the visitor’s book, “Exemplary work by our hardworking craftsmen can be seen at stalls in Chhattisgarh pavilion. Products made by them are world-class.”

Chhattisgarh Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Ravindra Choubey and Food minister Amarjeet Bhagat were also present.

Chhattisgarh’s handicraft and handloom products such as bell metal, Dhokra art, Kosa silk sarees are on sale at the pavilion. Dress materials and bed sheets made by using natural dyes, herbal products of gram udyog could be purchased from the pavilion.

More than 20 countries and over 800 companies are participating in this year’s fair.
