Awards received for efficient irrigation management presented to CM

Bhopal. Award conferred by Central Board of Irrigation and Power, New Delhi was presented to Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan by Water Resources Minister Shri Jayant Malaiya at Mantralaya here today. Other members of the cabinet and senior officers were also present on the occasion.

The awards were presented by Union Water Resources Minister Smt. Uma Bharti for efficient irrigation management in Madhya Pradesh recently. The award has been given to Madhya Pradesh for efficient management and conduct of water resources projects and best utilisation of created irrigation potential in the state.
