Attention to be paid to businessmen’s interests: CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan attended Regional Businessmen’s Convention at Vidisha today. He said that businessmen’s role is very important in state’s development. He said that the state government has constituted Trade Promotion Board to look after interests of businessmen. With this, the state government intends that policy should be framed in consultation with businessmen. Shri Chouhan said that representatives of 8 businessmen’s associations of which one will be from Vidisha. The Board will meet at least twice a year. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that state’s growth rate is much more than the national average. Apart from increasing it further, every possible effort is also being made to promote trade and employment.

Shri Chouhan said that maximum number of solar and wind power plants will be set up to make the state self-reliant in power sector.

Shri Chouhan announced Rs. 10 lakh assistance to Shri Indrasen Arora whose relatives died in fire incident at a recent function at Vidisha. It is noteworthy that Shri Chandrapal Arora, Smt. Meena Arora, Shri Jatin Arora, Smt. Poonam Arora and Master Mahir had died in the fire incident.

Earlier, the Chief Minister Shri Chouhan released annual calendar of the Businessmen’s Association. Shri Govind Goyal and Shri Kailash Agrawal also spoke on the occasion. Representatives of businessmen’s associations, businessmen and citizens were present on the occasion.

CM Shri Chouhan takes mid-day meal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan took mid-day meal at Government MLB School at Vidisha on Republic Day. Shri Chouhan started the meal by offering sweets to school student Ku. Shivani. Shri Chouhan served meal to students and also took meal with them.

At Arihant Vihar Colony: Chief Minister Shri Chouhan attended at programme at Jain Mandir in Arihant Vihar Colony. He said that Rs. 2 crore 24 lakh works being undertaken for colony’s development should be done with quality. Arihant Vihar Sangharsh Samiti and Arihant Vihar Jain Mandir Committee welcomed Chief Minister Shri Chouhan and presented mementoes to him.
