Another option for depositing electricity bills

Bhopal. High-tension power consumers of Central Regional Power Distribution Company can now deposit their respective electricity bills through State of India portal www.onlinesbi.com. The company has offered yet another option of depositing bills to its consumers. For this, an agreement was signed between Central Regional Power Distribution Company and State Bank of India today. Company’s Managing Director Shri Nitesh Vyas and SBI’s Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh Deputy Managing Director Shri S.K. Mishra were present on the occasion.
This facility will be available to 1472 high-tension consumers of the company. It may be mentioned that high-tension consumers make payment against their electricity bills through cheques or drafts at the company’s circle-level accounts offices. The online bill payment facility for high-tension consumers at SBI’s portal www.onlinesbi.com is free of charge.
Bhopal. The online bill payment facility will specially benefit those high-tension consumers, which are situated 90 to 100 kilometers away from the company’s concerning accounts offices. Besides, the amount of bills paid online through SBI’s portal will be immediately transferred to the company.
The company has hoped that its high-tension consumers will take advantage of this service available on State Bank of India portal.
The agreement was signed by power distribution company Chief General Manager (Commercial) Shri Virendra Gupta and SBI Assistant General Manager Shri Sanjay Shah. SBI General Manager Shri V.S. Ohri, Assistant General Manager, company’s Chief General Manager (Maintenance/administration) Dr. Kedar Singh, Chief General Manager (IT) Shri A.K. Jain, Director (Finance) Shri Sanjay Shrivastava, Advisor Shri P.K. Mishra and Chief General Manager (Bhopal circle) Shri R.K. Mishra and other officers were present on the occasion.
