Animal Bones Found in Panna Tiger Reserve

Animal bones were found when two places were excavated in Panna Tiger Reserve, reported PTI.

“Few bones and a jaw has been found from two places in Panna Tiger Reserve during digging for carrying out some developmental work,” Madhya Pradesh Forest Minister Sartaj Singh was quoted as saying.

The minister said that bones seemed to belong to a bear and that it would be too early to comment that the jaw was of a tiger, said report.

“The bones and the jaw has been sent to forensic laboratory for tests,” Singh was quoted as saying.

However, the minister denied that a large quantity of jaws of tigers was found, saying that one jaw was unearthed, said report.
