Amma was symbol of Women Empowerment : CM

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed grief over the demise of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Sushri J. Jayalalitha.

Shri Chouhan said that Late Sushri Jayalalitha was not only the Chief Minister of the Tamil Nadu but was a respectable leader of India. She was a symbol of women empowerment. Welfare schemes prepared by her especially for the poor have changed the life of the poor of Tamil Nadu state. Beside Leader and Chief Minister, Late Sushri Jayalalitha became Amma for the people. Her death is an irreparable loss to the public which cannot be filled easily.

Shri Chouhan prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved supporters to bear this loss.
