After Zero percent loan, free medical treatment to farmers

Bhopal. After getting the loan Zero percent interest, farmers of Madhya Pradesh received a new gift in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday announced that free Medical treatment will be provided to the farmers, who are seriously ill.
Addressing a huge rally at Bhopal’s Jamboori Maidan, Shri Chouhan blamed UPA led Central Government for not doing anything to solve farmer’s problem.
“The 18% growth that the state achieved in the agriculture sector is the result of your hard work,” he said. “You sweated blood and filled the granaries and the state made an unprecedented record of wheat production. But as you produced a bumper crop of over 85 lakh tonne, the Congress-led Union government stopped to send us gunny bags. I travelled ten times between New Delhi and Bhopal pleading the Centre to send us gunny bags but they wanted us to fail,” Shri Chouhan alleged.
The state BJP organised a mammoth gathering of farmers from across the state for the Atal Kisan Mahapanchayat at the Jambooree Maidan here to felicitate chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for his achievements in making Madhya Pradesh one of the largest wheat producers of the nation and achieving an impressive 18% growth in the agricultural sector. He even went on to equating the farmers with gods. It was expected that the chief minister would announce another series of sops for farmers like he had done on several farmers’ congregations over the past five years.
