Adequate funds given to local bodies for urban infrastructure development

Bhopal: Urban Administration & Development Minister Shri Babulal Gaur has said that State Government has allocated adequate funds for urban infrastructure development to local bodies during last 10 years. He urged public representatives to keep a constant watch over quality of development works. Shri Gaur was laying foundation stones for development works costing Rs. 4 crore 13 lakh at Satna today.

Shri Guar said that Rs. 18 crore has been provided under Project Utthan to Satna city. An ambitious schemes costing Rs. 82 crore has been sanctioned to ensure 24X7 water supply in the city. Satna Mayor Shri Pushkar Singh Tomar informed that Satna city has been included in Rajiv Aawas Yojana. Under the scheme, Rs. 89 crore proposals have been sent to the Union Government. Shri Gaur also inspected ongoing development works in Satna city. He also went round new office building of the corporation.

Inspection of Rewa city’s development works: Today itself, Minister Shri Gaur also inspected ongoing development works in Rewa city undertaken by municipal corporation. He inspected work to beautify and renovate Rani Talab. Shri Gaur also saw development works underway at Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel inter-state bus stand. He directed to complete all development works within prescribed time-limit.
