75.28 turnout during re-polling at 6 Vidhan Sabha polling booths

Bhopal: As many as 75.28 percent voters cast their votes during re-polling held in 6 polling booths in 5 districts on the directives of Election Commission of India. These included 75.48 percent males and 75-04 females. The re-polling from 8 am to 5 pm remained peaceful am idst tight security. Poll percentage was 72.98 at polling booth number 14-Bahrara in Vidhan Sabha constituency number 05-Sumawali in Morena district, 70.79 percent at polling booth number 182-Chaurai and 73,11 percent at polling booth number 189-Ikmili in constitu-ency number 11-Ikmili Lahar in Bhind district, 75.25 percent at polling booth number 151-Baikunthpur in const-ituency number 68-Sirmaur in Rewa district, 93.57 percent at polling booth number 145-Barauda in constituency number 101-Panagar in Jabalpur district and 67.93 percent polling was registered during re-polling at polling booth number 100 in Vidhan Sabha constituency number 217-Ujjain South in Ujjain district.

As many as 76.07 percent males and 69.33 percent females voted at polling booth number 14-Bahrara in Sumawali, 72.16 percent males and 68.91 percent females in booth number 182-Chaurai in Lahar and 70.99 percent males and 75.86 percent females at polling booth number 189-Ikmili in Bhind district, 75.28 percent males and 75.23 percent females at polling booth numbe 151-Baikunthpurin Sirmaur, 93.53 males and 93.62 females at polling booth number 145-Baraunda in Panagar and 65.24 percent males and 70.71 percent females cast their votes at polling booth number 100-Dussehra Maidan in Ujjain South constituency.
Public holiday was declared in the areas where re-polling was held. Holiday was also declared for labourers working in establishments falling under concerning polling booths. Liquor shops in the areas remained closed due to re-polling.
