Medical college to be opened in Khandwa with Centre’s cooperation

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that every child should be educated so that no one’s life is spoil. The Chief Minister stated this at “School Chalen Ham Abhiyan” and “Aao Banayen Apna Madhya Pradesh” programme at Khandwa today. Announcing to open a medical college Khandwa with Centre’s cooperation, he said that cooperation of all is must for development of Madhya Pradesh. Food and Civil Supplies Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah and MP Shri Nand Kumar Singh Chouhan were present on the occasion.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that education is must for development. It opens new doors for progress. He said that all of us must ensure that no child in our vicinity remains depriving to going to school and studies continuously. We can realise the dream of educated Madhya Pradesh only by paying attention to this. On the occasion, the Chief Secretary administered pledge to people to ensure campaign’s success.

Shri Chouhan informed about government’s various schemes. He said that state government’s priority is to provide water and power. People should pay attention that these resources are used with frugality. He said that de-addiction is also necessary for development of every person.

The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 48 development works costing Rs. 41 crore 71 lakh 81 thousand in Khandwa district. He distributed assistance worth Rs. 4 crore 54 lakh to 1264 beneficiaries of various schemes. Shri Chouhan also released press directory of Khandwa.
