52 works worth Rs. 332 crore proposed for Simasta in Ujjain

Bhopal: Commerce & Industries Minister and Ujjain district’s in-charge Shri Kailash Vijaywargiya reviewed preparations for Simastha-2016 at Ujjain yesterday. At the meeting, it was decided to send a proposal for sanction of 52 works worth Rs. 332 crore to the empowered committee headed by the Chief Minister.
Shri Vijaywargiya directed to chalk out an action plan for removing encroachments from Simhastha area. He instructed that distance of Mahakal temple from Ring Road and approach road from Ring Road to the temple should be projected properly in the map. He directed to undertake plantation on Panchkroshi Marg and Simhastha area before monsoon so that shade is available to devotees. He directed to complete Agar four-lane road and Kamari Road within time-limit. He also instructed to chalk out a detailed project report on River Corridor Yojna for conservation of Kshipra River.
Food & Civil Supplies Minister Shri Paras Jain, Tourism Development Corporation Chairman Dr. Mohan Yadav, Mayor Shri Rameshwar Akhand, Simhastha Mela Authority Chairman Shri Diwakar Natu, Clay Art Board Chairman Shri Ashok Prajapat, Madhya Pradesh Haj Committee Chairman Shri Sanawwar Patel, Ujjain Development Authority Chairman Shri Kishore Khandelwal, MLA Shri Shiv Narayan Jagirdar, divisional commissioner, district collector and other concerning officers were present at the meeting.
