2 men hack Congress leader Kamal Nath’s phone, demand money from politicians

Two men were detained for allegedly hacking former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath’s phone and demanding money from Congress leaders. One of the leaders later informed Kamal Nath about the suspicious calls, after which a plan was hatched to hand them over to the police.

According to the police, the two men had managed to gain access to Kamal Nath’s mobile phone and then started making demanding calls to Congress leaders.

The hackers called Congress treasurer Ashok Singh from Kamal Nath’s number and demanded Rs 10 lakh, according to the police.

Apart from this, Congress District President of Indore, Surjit Singh Chadha, Congress MLA from Gwalior, Satish Sikarwar and former Congress Treasurer Govind Goyal were also called.

When Govind Goyal got suspicious, he asked Kamal Nath about the calls demanding money, after which the hack was discovered.

To nab the two men, Goyal called the hackers to his house with the promise that he would give them the money.

As soon as two people came to Govind Goyal’s bungalow to collect money, they were surrounded and then handed over to the crime branch.

The police have detained the two accused, Sagar Singh Parmar and Pintu Parmar from Gujarat and are investigating the incident.
