1748 Children benifitted from Mukhyamantri Bal Hriday Yojna

Bhopal. 1748 Poor children have been cured from heart disease in just one year in Madhya Pradesh, under the Mukhyamantri Bal Hriday Upchar Yojna.
In  this scheme, assistance is made available in both district and state levels for the children, who are suffering from heart disease. The State Government extends financial assistance for treatment of heart patient children belonging to poor and BPL families.
Till March last year, 208 BPL and 560 APL children were extended financial assistance under Mukhyamantri Bal Hriday Upchar Yojna. Besides, financial assistances was also made available to 203 children at the state level and 591 at the district level under Rajya Beemari Sahayata Yojna.
Assistance has been provided to 186 children till May of the current fiscal. Of these, 54 children were benefited at the district level and 132 children at the state level.
It may be mentioned that cases upto Rs. one lakh are sanctioned at the district level under Mukhyamantri Bal Hriday Upchar Yojna and Rajya Beemari Sahayata Yojna. Cases over Rs. one lakh are sanctioned at the division level. Cheques for both the levels are given by Chief Medical and Health Officer.
It noteworthy that Rajya Beemari Sahayata is covered by Public Service Delivery Guarantee Scheme and therefore, cases under it have to be disposed of within the time-limit.
