Huge ruckus after death of Dalit girl; family alleges Gangraped and murdered

Huge ruckus was witnessed in Mhow of Indore after the death of a tribal girl died on Wednesday night, a youth died of bullet injuries in the protest.

The family alleged that the goons murdered her after the gangrape.

Angry with the incident people pelted stones at the police post. Vandalized police vehicles. Police released tear gas shells to control the situation. About 25 fire shots in air were made to control mob.

During this, a young man has died due to bullet injury, whose body has been taken to MY Hospital. However, it is not yet clear as to whose bullet the young man died. In the action 6 policemen including Badgonda station in-charge Bharat Singh Thakur were injured.

Rural SP Bhagwant Birde said that on the complaint of the victim’s family, a murder case has been registered against Yadunandan Patidar. If the allegation of rape is confirmed in the postmortem report, then the section will be increased. It is alleged that Yadunandan Dhamnod abducted the girl from Dhar district and brought her to village Gawli Palasia. Here she was electrocuted and killed.

The youth who died has been identified as Bherulal, an 18-year-old tribal youth.  Section 144 has been imposed in rural areas. With this, the entire area has been converted into a cantonment.

On Wednesday evening, the family of the girl blocked the road by keeping the dead body in front of the Dongargaon post. The performance went on for about an hour.

The family accused the police of suppressing the case. They say that the police is not listening to them. The girl’s aunt alleged that her niece was gang-raped and murdered by youths from the Patidar community. The police did not even write our report.

The protesters say that the girl has been murdered. They were demanding to hand over the accused youth to them. Police officials said that the accused will be punished according to the law.

ASP Shashikant Kanakane, SDM Akshat Jain, Tehsildar Abhishek Sharma are present. Along with this, the police force of four police stations including Mhow, Badgonda is deployed on the spot. More than 500 jawans kept patrolling in different parts till late night. Two Vajra vehicles and two fire brigades are present on the spot. Barricading has also been done around Dongargaon outpost. Badgonda police station in-charge Bharat Singh Thakur is seriously injured. He has a deep injury on his eye.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the Mhow incident. On the other hand, former Chief Minister Kamal Nath has raised questions on the government and law and order, terming the incident as unfortunate. Kamal Nath tweeted – The murder of a tribal girl after gangrape and then the death of a tribal youth in police firing has proved Jungle Raj in Madhya Pradesh.

PCC Chief and former Chief Minister Kamal Nath has constituted a team of tribal legislators to investigate the incident. These include Kantilal Bhuria, Bala Bachchan, Jhuma Solanki and Panchilal Meda. The team has left for the spot. Congress’s Indore in-charge Mahendra Joshi has also left for the spot.

Home Minister Narottam Mishra, who reached Ujjain, has said to conduct an inquiry into the incident in Mhow. He said- Congress should not do politics on sensitive issues. The husband says that he died due to electrocution, while people from other organizations are talking about murder. An inquiry has been ordered.
