125 couples tie nuptial knots in presence of Shri Laxmikant Sharma
Bhopal: Nikahs of 125 couples were solemnised under Mukhyamantri Nikah Yojana at Pt. Chandramohan Sharma Memorial Auditorium at Sironj today. Public Relations and Culture Minister Shri Laxmikant Sharma blessed the newly wed couples.
Shri Sharma said that Sironj has secular traditions. Atmosphere of equality and harmony has always prevailed here. People belonging to all sections of society share their happiness. He said that the government is making efforts for welfare and upliftment of every section of society. large number of public representatives, citizens and people belonging to Muslim community were present on the occasion.
Extending congratulations, Shri Sharma wished for happy and successful married life of newly weds. Shri Sharma greeted the couples by showering flower petals on them. He also gave away gifts to them including utensils, clothes, jewellery, watches, cosmetics etc.
