1181 nomination papers filed on November 7

Bhopal: As many as 1181 candidates filed nomination papers in various districts for Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha elections today. Maximum 82 nomination papers were filed in Rewa district. Process of filing nomination papers had started on November 1 with issuance of notification. November 8 is the last date for filing nomination papers.

Till late evening, 1181 candidates filed nomination papers. On the first day November 1, a total of 35 candidates had filed nomination papers, 35 on November 2, 74 on November 4, 243 on November 5 and 442 nomination papers were filed on November 6. With this, the total number of nominations filed in the state has gone up to 2010.

Today, 2 nomination papers were filed in Sheopur district, Morena 23, Bhind 45, Gwalior 29, Datia 13, Shivpuri 16, Guna and Ashok Nagar 20 each, Sagar 47, Tikamgarh 27, Chhatarpur 31, Damoh 19, Panna 13, Satna 58, Rewa 82, Sidhi 34, Singrauli 18, Shahdol 9, Anuppur 24, Umaria 5, Katni 30, Jabalpur 33, Dindori 9, Mandla 25, Balaghat and Seoni 28 each, Narsinghpur 12, Chhindwara 35, Betul 28, Harda 5, Hoshangabad 25, Raisen 15, Vidisha 27, Bhopal 34, Sehore 16, Rajgarh 22, Barwani 13, Alirajpur 9, Jhabua 12, Dhar 27, Indore 48, Ujjain 39, Ratlam 20, Mandsaur 18 and 11 nomination papers were filed in Neemuch district.

No nomination form has been filed in Vidhan Sabha constituencies number 2-Vijaypur, 23-Karera, 157-Ashta, 186-Bhagwanpura and 197-Gandhwani.
