100-year-old Chhattisgarh woman recovers from Covid

Budhni Bai, 100, has become a motivation for Covid-19 patients after recovering from the disease and getting discharged from the hospital on Tuesday.

Budhni Bai is a resident of village Bundeli in Korea district. An official statement quoted her family members as saying that she had till now never ever visited any hospital for any reason.

But after she tested Covid positive, she was taken to a Covid Hospital at Baikunthpur. After regular doses of medicine, food and care by doctors and paramedical staff, she was discharged.

The doctors said when she was admitted her oxygen level was below 95 and she had fever as well as other symptoms of Covid. Due to her age, she was given special care and she recovered within six days.

During discharge, Budhni Bai thanked all the doctors, nurses and other paramedics for their care and timely help and blessed them all.
