10 % dearness relief to pensioners

Bhopal: The state government has sanctioned 10 percent dearness relief to state government’s pensioners with effect from January 1, 2014. Dearness relief will also be applicable to pensioners of 80 years or more on the additional pension payable to them.

The dearness relief will be available on superannuation, retirement, disability and compensation pension. Employees dismissed or terminated from service will also be entitled for dearness relief on sanctioned compassionate allowance. This benefit will also be extended to recipients of family pension and extraordinary pension.
