Yeddyurappa visit Siddagana Mutt after the release

TUMKUR: On Wednesday former chief minister and BJP leader B S Yeddyurappa was in a great mood after being released from jail. He visited Siddaganga Mutt of Tumkur.

He reached the mutt around 11.30am and sought Sri Shivakumara Swamiji’s blessings. Yeddyurappa along with four MPs and 20 MLAs visited the mutt.

Considering Yeddyurappa’s visit, two high schools of Siddaganga Mutt were also shut. Students of both the schools stood patiently outside the mutt’s administrative block to look at their hero. After this, the former CM went to Gulur Ganesha temple.

Yeddyurappa said he is not a contender for the post of BJP state president. “I am not interested in being the chief minister again. I am only a common volunteer in the party. But I will tour all over Karnataka in the next 20 days and visits all the mutts,” he said.

Yeddyurappa said, “BJP state president K S Eswharappa didn’t involve our followers in Advani’s Jan Chetana Yatra. So we all will move to Delhi soon and meet Advani to explain the matter.”
