Three MP tourists killed, 6 injured in Himachal accident

MANALI: A Vehicle carrying six tourists of Madhya Pradesh’s Khandwa District fell into a deep gorge near Mari, 12 km from Rohtang pass on saturday. Three of them have died on the spot.
Police said that accident took place when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The deceased were identified as Rehan (5), his father Mohammad Asif (26) and Sikander (26), son of Abdul Rasak, all residents of Khandwa.

The injured, identified as Junar’s wife Bina (26), his sons Junar (4) and Umesh (6) Afleen (26), wife of Asif, were taken to a hospital in Manali. All of them were stated to be out of danger, said police quoting hospital authorities.

The driver of the vehicle, Babu and guide Rakesh, both hailing from Mandi, were also among the injured.
