Strict action against 23 employees under MNREGA
Bhopal: Development Minister Shri Gopal Bhargava and Additional Chief Secretary Panchayat & Rural Development Smt. Aruna Sharma, strict action has been taken against 23 officers. Of these, 12 officers on deputation have been sent back to their parent departments. Besides this, directives have been given to district programme coordinators to terminate services of 11 contractual workers.
The officers on deputation sent back to their parent departments include five assistant engineers of Rural Engineering Service, one of Madhya Pradesh Housing Board, two assistant engineers and one sub-engineer of Water Resources Department, one sub-engineer each of Public Works Department and Sugar Mill, Kolaras and one additional programme officer of Rural Development Department. Process to terminate services of eight contractual sub-engineers, two assistant engineers and one additional programme officers will be undertaken as per terms of contract.

Gupta posted at Morena Janpad Panchayat in Morena district, Shri Brijesh Choudhary posted at Jaura Janpad Panchayat in Morena district, assistant engineer of Water Resources Department Shri G.R. Dhakad posted at Chhatarpur Janpad Panchayat in Chhatarpur district, Shri Amol Singh Raghuvanshi posted at Kalapipal Janpad Panchayat in Shajapur district, sub-engineer Shri Rajaram Shakya posted at Ghoradongri Janpad Panchayat in Betul district, PWD sub-engineer Shri K.C. Shakya posted at Vijaypur Janpad Panchayat in Sheopur district, MP Housing Board assistant engineer Shri A.A.
