Presenting report in Delhi was a big achievement: CM

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while addressing the ministers before the meeting of the Cabinet, said that presenting the Madhya Pradesh Good Governance and Development Report 2022 in New Delhi is a big achievement of the state. Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country to submit such a report on good governance and development.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh was praised by the Union Ministers and eminent personalities of the country’s economic world for submitting the report. The meeting of the Council of Ministers under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Chouhan began with the recitation of Vande Mataram.

Chouhan said that Gaurav Diwas is being celebrated with enthusiasm and fervour at various levels in the state. The feeling of development of our village, city, welfare of the people there and participation of local people is being expressed through Gaurav Diwas.

The Chief Minister said that the festival of Ram Navami would be celebrated with enthusiasm in the state. Special events will be held in Chitrakoot and Orchha. Earthen lamps will be lit in every Ram temple and Ram Navmi will be celebrated with full grandeur and divinity.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Mukhyamantri Udyami Kranti Yojana is being started today to connect the youths of the state with self-employment. He said that it is a matter of happiness that the Center for Monitoring Indian Economy has told in its survey that the unemployment rate in the state is 1.4 percent, which is less than other states. The campaign to create employment opportunities in the state and support the youths in self-employment will continue.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that in the last three months, 14 lakh people have been made self-employed by providing loans. It is the result of a coordinated effort. Udyam Kranti Yojana will prove to be a boon for the youths of the state.

Before the meeting of the Council of Ministers, a presentation was made on the Udyam Kranti Yojana, in which information was given about the purpose of the scheme, eligibility, eligible project, role of banks, types of financial assistance, process of application and approval etc. It was told in the presentation that the implementation of the scheme will be done through the online portal and it has been made mandatory for the bank to take a decision on the application within a maximum of 6 weeks.
