Redmi K20 Pro to get 12GB RAM, Snapdragon 855 chipset, reveals TENAA listing: Here’s all you need to know

Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi recently launched the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro in China. The K20 Pro is the latest flagship from the Redmi brand which gets a lot of top-spec features like Snapdragon 855, 6GB of RAM and such. But with this latest spotting, the Redmi K20 Pro may be getting a full-fledged blow-my-head-off spec sheet to boot.

The official launch announcement revealed the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro and we saw the Redmi K20 Pro top out at 8GB of RAM. Now if the latest TENAA listing is to be believed, the Redmi K20 Pro is slated to soon arrive with a whopping 12GB of RAM. This has been spotted on an official listing of the K20 Pro on TENAA – a Chinese regulatory authority which certifies every device before it goes to sale in the Chinese market.

The listing shows that the K20 Pro by Redmi will be available on sale in three variants – 6, 8, or 12GB of RAM. The 6GB and 8GB variants were made public at the launch announcement before, but now there is a 12GB variant. Of course, every flagship killer needs a 12GB variant in the current smartphone market. Don’t believe us? Just look at the OnePlus 7 Pro.

There are also speculations that Redmi may be working on a transparent edition of the K20 Pro. The TENNA listing also reveals that the K20 Pro would be sold in an additional colour option like – pink, white, green, purple, and grey. The new colours will join the list of colours which have been already announced – blue, red, and black.

The Redmi K20 Pro will mostly go on sale in other global markets as the Pocophone F2 Pro or the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro. Although, other leaks have now suggested that the Mi 9T Pro may carry a design similar to the Xiaomi flagship.
