Ramdev pointed on home ministry for Rajbala’s death

NEW DELHI: On Tuesday on the death of Rajbala one of Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev’s supporter, he said Rajbala’s death is not a normal one it’s an ultimate sacrifice of her. Ramdev said the central government should take the responsibility of her death.

Baba Ramdev demands a legal enquiry on the issue saying, “There should be legal inquiry. Central government should give answers. Any government who does not abide by Constitutional and moral rights, they do not deserve to be in power.”

“Delhi government and Delhi Police cannot be forgiven. Central government and home ministry have committed a heinous crime,” he added.

Requesting Central Government to do justice to Rajbala, Ramdev said: “It can only be forgiven if culprits are arrested and punished.

He further said her sacrifice will not go in vein. Millions of her brothers and sisters will continue to fight for corruption-free India.

Ramdev said, “Ram Jethmalani is fighting the case on humanitarian grounds.

Rajbala, who was injured during the pre-dawn police action in Ramlila Maidan on June 5, succumbed to her injuries on Monday at the G.B. Pant Hospital.

Although postmortem report suggested cardiac failure to be the reason behind Rajbala’s death, her kin alleged that Rajbala died due to negligence of the hospital administration.

Ramdev had been on a hunger strike against corruption along with 65,000 followers when the Delhi Police cracked down on their camp late on the night of June 5 at the Ramlila Maidan.

During the strike the Delhi Police fired tear gas shells, when Ramdev was on his indefinite ‘fast-unto-death’ stir to demand several radical reforms in the prevailing political system, including a death penalty for corrupt officials.
