To give equal status to women, it is necessary to provide them a safe environment: Chief Minister Chouhan

Chief Minister  Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that without justice to half the population, neither the country nor the society can progress. The hesitations of sisters and daughters were broken, their self-confidence and respect increased, for this purpose, along with 30 percent reservation for women in the police force, schemes and programs like Ladli Lakshmi, Kanya Vivah were started.

Till we do not make our sisters and daughters stand on an equal footing in the society, we will not be able to breathe easy. Women’s safety is most important in this. “Abhimanyu Abhiyan”, launched to instill fear among criminals, to make women help desk dynamic by providing vehicles and to develop a sense of respect towards women, will prove to be a milestone in the direction of women empowerment.

Chief Minister  Chouhan was addressing a program organized at Motilal Nehru Stadium to provide two-wheeler vehicles to women police personnel of Urja Mahila Help Desk working in the police stations of the state.

Chief Minister Chouhan flagged off the scooter rally of 250 women police personnel. He released the booklet “Abhimanyu” of the Abhimanyu Abhiyan, which is run with the aim of making men aware of crimes against women and to develop a sense of respect for women. Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, Additional Chief Secretary Home Dr. Rajesh Rajaura, Director General of Police Mr. Sudhir Saxena and senior police officers were present in the programme.

Chief Minister  Chouhan said that there is a need to change the distorted thinking of discrimination between son and daughter and domestic violence. The recruitment of 30% women in the police has helped the aggrieved women to narrate their grievances in the police stations and get action taken on them. Crimes against women will not be tolerated. We are not cruel, but it is often seen that people of bad nature do not obey without strict action, it is necessary to create fear among criminals.

Chief Minister  Chouhan called upon the women police personnel to awaken their inner divinity and take action against the wicked and be helpful in providing a safe environment to the sisters and daughters. With this, the confidence and respect of sisters and daughters will increase and the fame and fame of the policemen will expand.

Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra said that putting the resolution on the ground is called Siddhi. The resolution taken by the Chief Minister Shri Chouhan for the empowerment of women, he is continuously putting it on the ground. He has been working for the empowerment of women since he was not the Chief Minister. From Ladli Laxmi Yojana to Ladli Bahna, she has done all the programs that can be done to increase the self-confidence of women. Along with reservation in jobs for women in the state, participation in Panchayati Raj institutions has also been ensured. With respect to the daughters, all efforts are being made to make the environment of the state safe for them. When the daughters have a stick in their hands, the rest of the daughters feel safe and their self-confidence also increases. There is strength in the presence of women police. In Madhya Pradesh itself, to control crimes against women, a provision has been made for capital punishment for rapists. The scooties provided to the daughters of “Urja Mahila Help Desk” in the state will certainly be helpful in preventing crime against women.

Chief Minister  Chouhan flagged off the rally of 250 two-wheelers to the tune of songs “Madhya Pradesh Police Hai Hum”, “Yeh Bharat Desh Hai Mera” and “Saare Jahan Se Accha Hindusta Hamara” being played by the police band. At the beginning of the programme, Director General of Police Sudhir Saxena presented a memento to the Chief Minister Chouhan and informed about the activities of help desks set up in women’s police stations through the Nirbhaya Fund.
