PM Modi represents anger, hatred, lies, insecurity: Rahul Gandhi in his first roadshow after Lok Sabha defeat

Wayanad: In his first public address after the 2019 Lok Sabha defeat, Congress president Rahul Gandhi came out all guns blazing at Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Rahul Gandhi said that PM Modi represents the “worst” sentiments of India. “He represents anger, he represents hatred, he represents insecurity and he represents lies,” Rahul said.

Addressing a crowd while taking out his roadshow in Kerala’s Wayanad, Rahul accused the PM of using “poison of hatred” to divide the country. In what seemed like an address similar to Rahul’s campaign speeches during the general elections, Congress president slammed the PM, saying “Modi uses anger and hatred to divide the people of this country.”

Rahul also thanked the people of Wayanad for choosing him as its representative in the lower house of the parliament. While Rahul lost the party’s pocket borough of Amethi in Uttar Pradesh to Union Minister Smriti Irani, he netted 7,05,034 votes in Wayanad, winning by an impressive margin of 4,31,063 votes against his nearest rival Left Democratic Front (LDF)’s PP Suneer in the constituency.
