Pawar Reiterates support for Women’s Bill
Reiterating support for the women’s reservation Bill, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar on Sunday said he did not foresee any problem in the passage of the bill in the Lok Sabha during the ongoing Budget session.
Pawar, who serves as the Union Agriculture minister in the UPA government, was inaugurating the two-day conclave of about 220 party delegates from all over the country at Karla, about 104 kms from Pune.
“It would be passed in the ongoing session itself,” Pawar said.
He stressed that the NCP in the coming days will heighten its presence in all the states.
