Paswan, Party Workers Arrested during Protest March

During a protest march against Nitish Kumar government, LJP chief  Ram Vilas Paswan was arrested together with hundreds of his supporters.

Paswan and his supporters were arrested while they were marching from the party headquarers to the government’s residence Raj Bhavan during their ‘jail bharo abhiyan’ (fill the jail campaign).

It may be mentioned that the LJP has initiated a statewide campaign to “expose the failure of the state government in stopping atrocities against the Dalit community”.

Paswan has demanded that the state government make public the report of the Maha Dalit Commission.

He also alleges that the state government has been dividing Dalits in the name of development.
