2 crore nominations for Aadhar Card in state so far 1.5 crore numbers generated

Bhopal: Process of generating and issuing Aadhar Cards in Madhya Pradesh has been accelerated during last six months. Before December, 8 lakh cards were being prepared every month. As many as 16 lakh 50 thousand nominations were received during December. The number is almost double. So far, 2 crore nominations for Aadhar Card have been received in Madhya Pradesh. Of them, 1.5 crore numbers have been generated. Process is underway to generate remaining numbers.
Maximum enthusiasm is among youths towards Aadhar Card. Of the cards prepared so far, 60 percent cards belong to persons from 15 to 45 years of age.
Indore is pioneer in issuing Aadhar Cards with preparation of 12 lakh 33 thousand cards followed by 10 lakh 47 thousand cards in Shajapur, 10 lakh 8 thousand in Khandwa, 8 lakh 82 thousand in Hoshangabad, 8 lakh 39 thousand in Bhopal, 8 lakh 9 thousand in Dewas, 7 lakh 93 thousand in Mandsaur, 7 lakh 42 thousand in Jabalpur, 7 lakh 19 thousand in Ratlam, 5 lakh 13 thousand in Burhanpur and 5 lakh 4 thousand Aadhar Cards have been prepared in Burhanpur.
Process of generating Aadhar Cards has got underway recently in 15 districts where the work is being accelerated. These districts include Dindori, Singrauli, Ashok Nagar, Alirajpur, Umaria, Shahdol, Jhabua, Anuppur, Sheopur, Sidhi, Tikamgarh, Datia, Panna, Bhind and Balaghat.
People have now started realising importance of Aadhar Card and are serious towards it. In the time to come, benefits of various welfare schemes will be provided on the basis of Aadhar Card. For this, a beneficiary must have bank account. Link with Aadhar will be made on the basis of bank account and funds will be transferred direct to beneficiary’s account. As a result, no beneficiary will be able to avail double benefit of beneficiary-oriented schemes. In future, it will be mandatory to have Aadhar Card. People need not worry about Aadhar Card since everyone’s Aadhar Card will be prepared.
